Sewage Treatment Plant
Two sewage collection and treatment systems are implemented in Taipei City and they are Neihu Sewage Treatment Plant and Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant. The excessive sewage was conveyed to Bali Sewage Treatment Plant for accepting the initial-stage processing and then discharged into the Taiwan Strait.

Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant
The daily sewage treatment capacity reaches 500,000 cubic meters. The secondary treated sewage is sterilized by sodium hypochlorite and discharged to Danshui River. Among them, 10,000 cubic meters of treated sewage are renewed and reused after sand filtration.

Neihu Sewage Treatment Plant
The daily sewage treatment amount reaches 240,000 cubic meters; the secondary treated water is sterilized by sodium hypochlorite and discharged to the Keelung River. Among them, 20,000 cubic meters of treated water are filtered by the automatic filter and reused as recycled water.

Bali Sewage Treatment Plant
The daily sewage treatment capacity reaches 1,320,000 cubic meters, which is a typical cross-regional sewage treatment system. After the primary treatment and sterilization, the treated sewage is discharged to the Taiwan Strait through the marine drainage pipelines.
